Publisher's Descriptionof Cameraid 1.3.1

A powerful viewer lets you rename, drag-and-drop, and a photo-grading system for selecting good and bad shots. It has powerful batch-processing commands and lets you name photos automatically based on the time and date they were taken.

NOTE: To prevent freeze ups when downloading Cameraid: If you are using MacOs 9.0.2 or later and a USB to serial adapter, download the latest Keyspan drivers (available May 2nd 2000) and update to the latest version of Cameraid. Turning off virtual memory will also solve the problem. System requirements: Cameraid officially requires: A Macintosh with a 68020 or newer processor (the program also runs native on PowerPC processors); QuickTime (any version); System 7.0 or later; at least 2MB of available RAM. The following are recommended: PowerPC 604 or better for enhancing large images; at least 8-12 MB of free RAM, preferably more, for enhancing images; System 8.0 or later (System 7 Finder drag-and-drop may not function perfectly.) You can: Run Cameraid on old PowerBooks, such as the PowerBook 140 (the PowerBook 100 is not and will not be supported).; run Cameraid with just 1MB of free RAM, but images may not display properly and most batch processing commands are likely to fail; use Cameraid to download photos even if you don't have QuickTime - just disable everything related to viewing images.
